You won't believe what happened to me at the Gamescom in Cologne yesterday: I met Hideo Kojima. YES. THE HIDEO KOJIMA. [link]


But one thing after another:
First of all, already the journey to Cologne was awesome, it was a real little roadtrip and I had had a lot of fun with my two friends Alex and Deborah. We already left at 5am in the morning and arrived after a 6 hour drive. It was incredible how many people there were, even more than last year in Leipzig. Oh, and it was really HOT outside, hottest day of the whole year so far.
We had a look at all the stalls of the big developers like Nintendo, Sony, or Ubisoft, got lots of free stuff like T-shirts and posters and even joined a little Rock concert at one of the stages
Coincidentally we happened to just walk by the Konami stall when we saw that they were announcing a very special guest.

GUESS WHO.

I couldn't believe my ears as the announcer said Hideo Kojima, my friends and I started to squee and then he stepped on the stage. He then talked about the new Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and then they said they'll make a AUTOGRAPH SESSION. What followed was 10 minutes of being squeezed in a huge sweaty crowd, but this [link] was really worth it! I even shook his hand, the hand of Mr Hideo Kojima! eeeeeeeeeeeeee~*fanboy orgasm*

Erhm, yeah...sorry for getting a bit overexcited there, but this was really an unique experience. Now I only need to meet Shigeru Miamoto and I can die happily
